Business & Talent Affairs Manager
Position Overview
Our client, the in-house agency for a well-known CPG beverage company is seeking a Business & Talent Affairs Manager. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of talent agreements and business operations within the organization. This role will ensure effective negotiation and execution of contracts, maintain strong relationships with talent, and oversee compliance with union regulations.
This is a 40 hour per week open ended opportunity. The role is hybrid working 3 days per week onsite in Manhattan.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and manage contracts with talent and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with SAG and SAG AFTRA regulations.
- Process session and completion reports in a timely manner.
- Track and manage licensing agreements and related documentation.
- Oversee invoice entry and ensure accurate financial tracking for talent agreements.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline business operations and enhance talent management processes.
- Utilize XR extreme reach tools to manage talent communications and agreements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Agency experience
- Experience with XR (Extreme Reach) software
- Familiarity with HotBudget is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent affairs or business management within the entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of SAG and SAG AFTRA guidelines and regulations.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Proficient in invoice entry and financial tracking systems.
